Our perspective on life depends on where we stand

Our perspective on life and various issues depends on where we stand, and what we compare ourselves to. For example we may think we are pretty big stuff, until we come in contact with God. This is what happened to Isaiah in 6:5 "Woe is me, for I am ruined! Because I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts." Standing among his people he fit right in, but in the presence of God he was doomed because of his dirty mouth.

These photos are from a place called Gravity in a mall in Krasnoyarsk, Siberia. After our meetings we went there to relax and get some perspective.

Sometimes when surrounded by some wonderful leaders I feel that I have little to offer. But God has me here for a purpose, so I persist in seeking to understand His will in each situation.

It is imperative to get right in your own mind with how you understand scripture. Too often you come across the opinion of people who don't share the same way of interpreting texts from the Bible.

That's why I adore the two lasws:

Matthew 22:37-40The Message (MSG)

37-40 Jesus said, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your passion and prayer and intelligence.’ This is the most important, the first on any list. But there is a second to set alongside it: ‘Love others as well as you love yourself.’ These two commands are pegs; everything in God’s Law and the Prophets hangs from them.”

This states the technique and practical application of this walk of faith.

All the Best!
