On the river

Jehovah Jireh, My Provider and My Provision
The missionary life is one of great wealth. Paul writes, “we are regarded as… poor yet making many rich, as having nothing yet possessing all things!” (2 Cor. 6:10) This has certainly been our experience. When we started planning to come to the U.S. this winter we realized we had no place to stay. Wisely we waited to buy tickets and asked God to provide. He did in a big way. We are house-sitting on the Rogue river in Grants Pass, a city where we had no contacts. But now we are starting to get acquainted in a few churches.

My friend got a new GPS system that tells you how to get to any address. "Turn right in .2 miles" It actually talks! He let us borrow it during this time of raising support and trying to find lots of addresses in a city we don't know. What a huge help!

Today we took a break to treat some geese in our yard to some old bisquits. They were quite enthusiastic!
